Local Mission Activities
Local Outreach Activities. We have run a number of evangelistic outreach activities in the neighborhood that we are located in. We run an annual evangelistic Easter outreach for children. We have also run Vacation Bible School and participated in local Trunk-or-Treat events.
Homeless Ministry. We have been involved in ministries for homeless people in the Houston area - supplying physical needs with Blessing Bags we purchase, assemble, and distribute internally. In Summer 2017, we took a team to Galveston to help serve the homeless. We helped the Salvation Army with a number of projects, including cooking and serving a meal to Salvation Army residents and helped serve hundreds of homeless people with clothing, toiletries, and food at the Homeless Breakfast Street Ministry.
Hurricane Relief. Beyond financial relief, in the wake of Hurricane Harvey we helped do demolition work in a number of homes that were damaged by flooding and furnished an apartment for hurricane victims.
