Women's Ministry at Redeemer Bible Church
She opens her mouth with wisdom, and the teaching of kindness is on her tongue.
What We Do
The Women’s Ministry seeks to encourage women within our church body to grow in sanctification and glorify God together through:
Bible Study - We seek to raise up generations of women to study God’s Word for the purpose of teaching others and sharing the good news of the Gospel. In the Fall and Spring semesters we offer weekly Bible study meetings in which we work our way systematically through books of the Bible and spend time praying for one another.
Discipleship - We seek to equip and practice missional discipleship. In accordance with Titus 2:3-5, we encourage and facilitate mentoring relationships between women in the church. Through the context of both modeling and instruction, this ministry encourages obedience to God and seeks to equip women with practical skills related to life’s seasons and responsibilities.
Hospitality - We seek to provide hospitable care to the body through our God-given gifts, opening our homes and our hearts to those in the church and our community.
Fellowship - We encourage the women within the body to participate in gospel-immersed fellowship and friendship. Throughout the year we have a variety of structured and unstructured fellowship opportunities, including monthly potluck meals, twice yearly church game nights, and monthly women’s fellowships during the Summer. We also host a yearly Women’s Retreat every October, during which we study how to apply God’s Word more effectively in our lives, worship together, and have lots of fun together!
Outreach - We seek to minister to lost and hurt women, embracing the Great Commission to be salt and light in the world, for the sake of Christ and his kingdom. We encourage our members to show love and hospitality in their neighborhoods and workplaces, and to invite those whom they’re trying to reach to join us in our fellowship activities, Bible studies, and church services.
